Distrupol Ireland expands range with Innovene high density polyethylene and NOVA Innovene polystyrene
Distrupol Ireland have been appointed distributor for Innovene’s Rigidex high density polyethylenes. The Rigidex range is a market leader, based on the past businesses of BP Chemicals and Solvay. Distrupol Ireland is already the exclusive distributor for Innovene’s polypropylenes and its other polyethylenes.

Borealis appoints new Vice President Engineering Applications

SIEMENS VDO ABRE NUEVOS CAMPOS PARA USAR STANYL® LA PA46, DE DSM ENGINEERING PLASTICS: AISLANTES PARA NUCLEOS DE DEVANADO DEL MOTOR ELECTRICO EN UNA NUEVA BOMBA PARA EL ABS
La poliamida 46 (PA46) Stanyl® se usa a menudo en aislantes para núcleos de devanado de los motores eléctricos no destinados al automóvil por la resistencia mecánica y al calor de sus delgadas paredes. Ahora encuentra su primer uso en automoción para el motor de la bomba del sistema antibloqueo (ABS) de Siemens VDO. En el motor eléctrico compacto de nuevo diseño, la resina Stanyl permite paredes ultradelgadas de 0.4-0.6mm. que maximizan tanto el tamaño del aislante como el número de espiras. Es pues una forma económica de optimizar el proceso de montaje del motor al tiempo que aisla eléctricamene la bobina del armazón del motor que es metálico. El aislante de Stanyl conserva la rigidez de trabajo y la estabilidad dimensional hasta los 290ºC, prestación superior a la de la mayoría de termoplásticos sujetos a tracción de bobinado.

Eastman Expands CHDM Capacity
