LOCKHEED MARTIN RECURRE AL SISTEMA DE ENSAYOS DE TORRETAS DE MOOG
East Aurora, NY, EE.UU., 10 de julio de 2013 - El Grupo Industrial Moog, parte de Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A y MOG.B) y líder en el suministro de sistemas de ensayos y de simulación de altas prestaciones, ha proporcionado un Sistema de Ensayos de Torretas a Lockheed Martin para su planta ubicada en Ampthill (Reino Unido). Lockheed Martin tiene previsto hacer ensayos de torretas relativos a la estabilización y el rendimiento del carro de combate Warrior mejorado, dentro del Programa de Mantenimiento de Capacidades del Warrior y del de Vehículos de Combate de Infantería y Caballería. El contratista principal de este último es General Dynamics UK. Los desarrollos de producto cubren el ajuste y la integración del cañón CTAS (Cased Telescoped Gun) de 40 mm en una nueva torreta modernizada. Para ello es necesario optimizar la puntería del cañón y el comportamiento de estabilidad durante las maniobras, a fin de poder reproducir una misión típica de campo de batalla.

The Netherlands, 9 July 2013 - Air France-KLM will further cut tonnes from its annual aircraft carbon dioxide emissions, simply by using revolutionary new lightweight cargo nets that it is now introducing. Just one new lightweight net with Dyneema® will save Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo over 210 gallons of kerosene fuel per year. That means CO2 emissions will be over 2.5 tonnes less per net per year.
