Moog responde al desafío de los cambios normativos en Fórmula 1
East Aurora, NY, USA, 5 de noviembre de 2014 - El Grupo Industrial Moog, parte de Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A y MOG.B), ha estado trabajando con sus clientes mundiales de Fórmula 1 (F1) para ayudarles a responder a los desafíos que suponen los cambios normativos de la Federación Internacional del Automóvil (FIA). La Fórmula 1 es la máxima categoría de carreras de automóviles monoplaza homologada por la FIA, y sus vehículos son los coches de carreras tecnológicamente más avanzados del mundo. La nueva normativa obliga a los diseñadores de los coches de F1 en el uso de nuevas tecnologías que puedan ser aplicables a los coches convencionales, y en técnicas concretas para mejorar la eficiencia del combustible. Moog está en disposición de ayudar a los equipos a responder a estos desafíos con su gama de productos y sistemas de actuadores hidráulicos en miniatura para F1, con los que esta temporada presta apoyo a sistemas completamente nuevos como son la limitación de la presión de los frenos y el control del turbocompresor vía una válvula de alivio.
