Clariant's sunliquid® cellulosic ethanol technology to support China's 2020 bioethanol-gasoline mandate
Shanghai, November 6, 2017 – Clariant, a world-leader in specialty chemicals, introduced its sunliquid technology for the production of cellulosic ethanol, a second generation biofuel, at its media event in Beijing today. The sunliquid technology effectively converts agricultural residues such as cereal straw, into cellulosic ethanol for vehicles. This new technology can contribute to China's plans to use a bioethanol-gasoline nationwide by 2020 as recently announced by the National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Administration (NEA).

Met die dringende boodschap komt het CBRB tijdens zijn Binnenvaart Jaardiner op 24 november dat als thema heeft De groene versnelling. Tempo is nu echt vereist, stelt deze brancheorganisatie. Het CBRB is dan ook positief over het kabinetsplan om met de sector een Green Deal te sluiten.

CERAFILTEC Promises “Clean Water Everywhere” with Unique Ceramic Filtration Module Molded from SABIC NORYL™ Resin
Amsterdam, the Netherlands, November 2, 2017 - According to the United Nations1, water shortages will affect two-thirds of the world's population by 2025 if current consumption patterns continue. CERAFILTEC, a manufacturer of innovative water filtration solutions, is helping to address this looming crisis with a unique filtration module molded from SABIC’s NORYL™ glass-reinforced polyphenylene ether (PPE) resin.
