Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited, a focused and innovative specialty chemical company, today announced its financial results for the year ended March 31, 2019. The Company reported sales of Rs. 1028 crore in 2018-19, as against Rs. 1008* crore for the corresponding previous year. The net profit stood at Rs. 29.1** crore as against Rs. 13.3*** crore in the corresponding previous year.

SABIC lanza los compuestos suprarreciclados LNP™ ELCRIN™ iQ para alargar la vida útil de las botellas de PET y contribuir a la reducción de residuos plásticos
SABIC ha presentado hoy su cartera de resinas compuestas de politereftalato de butileno (PBT) derivadas del tereftalato de polietileno reciclado (rPET) LNP™ ELCRIN™ iQ pensadas para respaldar la economía circular y contribuir a reducir los residuos plásticos. Mediante el suprarreciclaje (upcycling) químico de PET desechado postconsumo (principalmente botellas de agua de un solo uso) para convertirlo en materiales de PBT de mayor valor con propiedades optimizadas y mayor idoneidad para aplicaciones más duraderas, la compañía está fomentando el uso de resinas recicladas. Otra de las ventajas de estos productos es que dejan menos huella ambiental que la resina de PBT virgen, según las mediciones de Cumulative Energy Demand (CED) y Global Warming Potential (GWP).
