SABIC, Polivouga y Nueva Pescanova colaboran en envase para productos del mar con polietileno circular certificado procedente de plástico recuperado de playas y zonas costeras
SABIC ha aprovechado su fructífera relación con Polivouga, fabricante de productos de film flexibles establecido en Portugal, para lanzar un nuevo e innovador proyecto TRUCIRCLE™ destinado a reutilizar desechos plásticos postconsumo recogidos en vías fluviales en un radio de 50 km respecto al mar que tienen el potencial de acabar en nuestros ríos y mares. La colaboración con el Grupo Nueva Pescanova, marca española líder en pesca, cultivo, elaboración y comercialización de productos del mar frescos, refrigerados y congelados, ha dado como resultado el desarrollo de la primera solución de envasado de alimentos congelados del mundo que utiliza polietileno circular certificado de SABIC a partir de materia prima procedente de plástico recuperado de playas y zonas costeras (OBP). El nuevo envase sostenible se lanzará coincidiendo con el Día Mundial de los Océanos 2022.

SONGWON’s new electronic chemicals production line nearing completion
Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. announced today that construction of its new electronic chemicals production line is nearing completion. Located at SONGWON’s Maeam plant in Ulsan, South Korea, construction is expected to be finished by the end of March, with startup planned thereafter.

DOMO produces five millionth tonne of caprolactam
DOMO Chemicals, a global leader in engineered material solutions and fully integrated producer of PA6, announced today the successful delivery of 5 million tonnes of caprolactam at its Leuna site. The Leuna site has produced caprolactam in its facilities since 1942. This quantity is equivalent to approximately 225,000 truckloads. The German subsidiary DOMO Caproleuna has been producing caprolactam and polyamide at the site in the heart of Europe since 1994. During this period, production capacities have been gradually expanded to the current 176,000 metric tonnes per year.

SONGWON announces new Chairman and changes to its Board
