Toyota habilite le nouveau système de peinture de pointe de Akzo Nobel
Sassenheim (Pays-Bas), février 2003 – La Toyota Motor Corporation vient d’autoriser les trois nouveaux produits de peinture Sikkens Plus® de Akzo Nobel : Autocryl Plus, Autobase Plus et Autoclear Plus. La gamme Sikkens Plus a été mise au point à l’aide d’une nouvelle technologie super-dispersante. Le résultat : un produit qui non seulement est plus facile à l’usage, mais qui, de surcroît, nécessite nettement moins de matériel pour obtenir une couverture complète.

Eastman increases Specialty Plastics prices
Eastman Chemical Company today announced a global increase in the prices of its specialty plastics products effective March 1, 2003. A price increase of US$0.24 per kilogram will affect the DuraStar® polymer, Eastalloy® polymer, Eastar® copolyester, Eastman® copolyester, Ecdel® elastomer, Embrace® copolyester, Provista® copolymer and Cadence® copolyester product families. A price increase of US$0.18 per kilogram was announced for Eastapak® polyester, Eastar® polyester and Eastman® polyester. Eastobond® copolyester will increase US$0.44 per kilogram.

Borealis expands distribution agreement with Ashland
Borealis today announced that as of March 1, 2003, it will extend the current distribution agreement with Ashland to also include polypropylene for small and medium size automotive and household appliance customers in the Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland and the UK in addition to the Nordic countries.
