Total et Corbion créent une joint-venture dans les bioplastiques
Paris, Amsterdam, 24 novembre 2016 - Total et Corbion s’associent dans le développement des bioplastiques en créant une joint-venture (50/50) de production et de commercialisation dans le domaine des polymères à base de PLA (acide polylactique). Total et Corbion prévoient la construction d'une usine de polymérisation de PLA de taille mondiale d'une capacité de 75 000 tonnes par an sur un site existant de Corbion en Thaïlande et disposant déjà d’une unité de production de lactide (monomère du PLA) qui sera transférée à la joint-venture. Corbion fournira l’acide lactique nécessaire à la production du PLA et du lactide.

TE Connectivity Presented Smart I/O Module at SPS IPC Drives
DARMSTADT, Germany – November 24, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, presented new products for Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0 applications at SPS IPC Drives 2016 (hall 10, booth 210). These include TE’s new IoT OmniGate I/O module, which can be used to set up a communication path from the machine to the cloud without impairing the performance of the control network. Information from sensors and actuators can thus be captured, filtered, prepared and then transferred to IT systems.

TE Connectivity Launches Modular Releasable Poke-in Wire-to-Board Connectors for Easy and Fast Installation
HARRISBURG, PA., USA – November 24, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, is introducing the Modular Releasable Poke-In Connector as a compact, versatile solution for wire-to-board connectivity. The poke-in feature allows for easy and fast installation, while the connector’s modular low profile and compact design provide flexibility in the application. These new connectors, which comply with UL 1977, are designed for applications in access controls, LED lighting fixtures, small home appliances, and thermostats. The Modular Releasable Poke-In Connectors are available in eight colors for ease of identification, with color customization upon request. All the connectors have a current rating of either 6A (with 18 AWG) or 5A (with 20 and 22 AWG); maximum voltage rating is 400 VAC.
