SABIC to feature at PCIM Europe first commercial application of ELCRES™ HTV150A film in capacitors
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, will highlight at PCIM Europe 2024 (in Hall 7, Booth 140) the first commercial application of its high-heat ELCRES™ HTV150A dielectric film. Japan’s Nichicon Corporation used this ultra-thin specialty film to develop high-temperature, high-voltage, commercial-quality capacitors for AC-DC traction inverter modules in electric vehicles. This technological breakthrough addresses industry demand for advanced film capacitors which can enable more-efficient AC-DC power modules.

Le Palatinose™ de BENEO stimule la libération de GLP-1
Une nouvelle étude dirigée par le professeur Andreas Pfeiffer (Zhang et al. ) montre que la consommation d'un glucide « intelligent » d'origine naturelle, le Palatinose™ (isomaltulose) de BENEO, stimule chez les adultes en surpoids la libération d'hormones intestinales aux effets bénéfiques, dont le GLP-1, même si cette consommation est suivie d'un repas. Les résultats prouvent que le Palatinose™ agit sur les paramètres métaboliques importants pour le maintien d'un poids corporel sain, le contrôle de la glycémie et la santé cardiovasculaire.

Syensqo’s Ixef® PARA resin selected to manufacture Artiphon’s intuitive Chorda instrument
Syensqo has announced that Nashville-based Artiphon company has chosen Ixef® polyarylamide (PARA) resin for molding the housing and keypad of Chorda, a novel electronic musical instrument. The unique capacitive sensor board of the device required a material capable of matching the tactile nature of the keypad, while also providing the long-term durability and aesthetics expected from a high-quality hand-held instrument.

SABIC’s versatile ULTEM™ resins, on display at AIX 2024, support recycling and sustainability goals
