Songwon at Feiplastic 2013

Songwon appoints Jungdu Kim as Technical Service Manager for North East Asia

Ulsan, Korea – April 23, 2013 – Songwon Industrial Group (www.songwon.com) has appointed Jungdu Kim as their new Technical Service Manager for the North East Asia region (NEA). Effective since April 1, 2013 Jungdu will be responsible for driving technical sales and identifying growth opportunities through providing technical direction and service to customers across Songwon’s extensive product portfolio. Jungdu will also provide support to the commercial organization in implementing value propositions and new product introductions. In this role he will report to Thomas Schmutz, Songwon’s Director of Global Technical Service as well as KY Lee, the NEA Director of Sales.

Songwon appoints Shunichi Watanabe as Executive Vice President of Operations for Japan

Ulsan, Korea — April 18, 2013 — Songwon (www.songwon.com), the second largest manufacturer of polymer stabilizers in the world, and a leading global supplier of additives and other chemicals to the plastic industry, has appointed Shunichi (Shun) Watanabe as their new Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operations for Japan as of April 1st 2013. Shun has almost 30 years of experience in the chemical industry, working for a number of international corporations in Japan as well as overseas where he has held leadership roles in general management, sales and marketing, and business development.
