TE Connectivity labels help Airbus technicians focus on airframe manufacture
TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has worked with Airbus to develop a highly customized set of labels for identifying wing components. Airbus wanted to take a visual and intuitive approach to identification labelling of complex subsystems and assemblies in aircraft wings to help its technicians to position identification labels quickly and accurately.
A leading supplier of branded consumer goods to the grocery, out-of-home, specialized retail, pharmacy and bakery sectors, Orkla already had ruled out using standard reclosable film. As the Vossafår package’s bottom web is flexible, consumers would not easily be able to align the top film with the bottom web for reclosing.
Avery Dennison has expanded its portfolio of ultrahigh frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) inlay label products targeting the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
At the COMPAMED fair in Düsseldorf (November 12-15, 2018), Henkel will present its comprehensive portfolio of adhesive materials for applications in healthcare. Highlights at the company’s booth G05 in Hall 8b, will include new LED curing adhesives for flexible medical devices, a range of advanced pressure sensitive adhesives for plasters and functional patches as well as conductive inks for smart health devices.
Avery Dennison will be the first pressure sensitive labelling material supplier to introduce liner made from recycled PET (rPET) commercially in Europe. This move reflects the firm’s commitment to finding more sustainable solutions for the labelling industry.
