Univar becomes distributor of Dankalk’s lime, chalk, and calcium carbonate products for Nordic regions
Dankalk (Løgtør, Denmark) has appointed Univar as a distributor of its range of lime, chalk, and calcium carbonate products in the Nordic region. Under the agreement, Univar will distribute Dankalk’s Alpine Fin, Asfaltfiller, Crumbles, Danchalk®, mineral lime and Gardenchalk brands and product lines in Norway, Finland, Iceland, and the Baltic countries, in addition to parts of Sweden and Denmark. Univar is one of the world’s leading independent suppliers of industrial chemicals and related specialty services and serves all branches of Nordic trade and industry.

AGRIPLAST MEETS LARGE PRODUCTION CHALLENGES WITH ECO-BROM® MULTI-LAYER FILMS CO-EXTRUDED WITH DSM AKULON® XP
AGRIPLAST (Vittoria, Italy) turned to DSM Engineering Plastics for a solution to a multi-faceted challenge. AGRIPLAST needed an agricultural plastic film that was strong enough to resist puncture by stones and stubble, wide enough for the most intensive mechanized farming, and impermeable to methyl bromide or alternate soil sterilization and fumigation gases.
Machine manufacturer Flier Holland BV in Barendrecht (NL) and E&O Kunststoffen in Veenendaal (NL) have jointly developed a special transport ring for the internal logistics of pot plant nurseries, made of 10% fibreglass reinforced Exxtral polypropylene (PP) supplied by polymer distributor Distrupol. Flier Holland BV is a leading manufacturer of mechanisation and automation systems for flower and plant growers. E&O Kunststoffen designs and develops customised plastic product solutions for its clients.
