Westfalia Fruit's Chilean alliance wins UN sustainable development award

The recognition, under SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, celebrates the alliance’s efforts in fostering sustainable development through collaborative corporate action.

Zero greenhouse gas emissions for Perstorp’s Waspik site: a milestone in low footprint production
Leading global specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), today announced that the Animal Nutrition focused plant in Waspik, the Netherlands has officially reduced its direct emissions (Scope 1& 2) to report zero over 2024.

Driven by its Netherlands-based operations, this initiative eliminates the need for individual plastic PLU stickers. After extensive testing and trials, the uniquely lasered mangoes have been introduced to customers in Europe.
