Designed and manufactured for Renault by FCI (www.fciconnect.com), the two-connector set incorporates many intricate geometric features for precise positioning and locking. Arnite® TV4 261 resin’s balance of flow and mechanical properties helped enable the design of these complex parts using automated manufacturing equipment. The connector set is a standard component that fits many Renault vehicles manufactured after 2006.

Fenders Made with SABIC Innovative Plastics’ Noryl GTX* Resins Debut in China on Dongfeng Peugeot’s First Car for China
BERGEN OP ZOOM, The Netherlands – May 14, 2008 – Auto body panels molded from SABIC Innovative Plastics’ high-tech Noryl GTX* resins continue to augment their global market penetration as automakers from around the world increasingly seek the innovative, high-performance benefits the resins provide. For more than seven years, Peugeot has used Noryl GTX resins for fenders and other body panels in its French-made cars. Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobiles (DPCA) now uses Noryl GTX resin on the Dongfeng Peugeot 307 four-door sedan, its first model manufactured and sold exclusively in China, sporting front fenders made with Noryl GTX resin.
PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) protective and marine coatings (PMC) business recently announced that SigmaPrime 700 and SigmaPrime 700 LT coatings will be applied to a vessel being built in Korea for Chandris Hellas that will be the first built in full compliance with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) ballast tank coatings regulation titled Performance Standard for Protective Coatings (PSPC).

PPG Industries recently reported record sales for the first quarter of $3.7 billion, surpassing the prior year’s first quarter results by 41 percent.
