Clariant to take part in World Foundry Congress 2016 in Japan
Tokyo, May 20, 2016 – Clariant, a world-leader in specialty chemicals, will take part in the 72nd World Foundry Congress (WFC 2016) due to take place at the Nagoya International Exhibition Hall, Japan on May 21 - 25, 2016. During the conference and exhibition, Clariant will present its leading Low Emission (LE) Technology for eco-friendly green sand molding.

GEKO® LE and ECOSIL® LE, a two-tiered bentonite solution for green sand casting, are going to be featured at the Metal + Metallurgy China Exhibition that will take place in Beijing, China on 17 - 20 May 2016. The products are the cornerstones of Clariant’s LE Technology that prevents emissions from the outset, supporting a more sustainable casting process and improving total cost of ownership for users.

The assembly is being fitted on vehicles produced around the world.

This new material, Stanyl HGR1, reduces frictional torque in automobile engine timing systems and will provide OEMs with a very cost-effective tool for reducing fuel consumption.
