Perstorp welcomes Valentina Serra Holm as Vice President Engineered Fluids
Perstorp has appointed Valentina Serra Holm as Vice President Engineered Fluids, where she will strengthen the group’s focus on key market segments with her experience and expertise from the industry.
Beaulieu Fibres International is heading to Filtech set on fostering collaborative product development to address the industry’s increasing clean air and energy management priorities. The leading European polyolefin and BICO fibre supplier is exhibiting at Europe’s largest filtration event for the first time (Hall 7 Stand R12).
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, today shared that it has collaborated with Dongfeng Motors, one of the largest truck manufacturers in China, on the development of a novel plastic composite hybrid solution to produce a strong lightweight truck-mounted toolbox. The application is made with a combination of SABIC’s STAMAX™ resin, a long glass fiber polypropylene (PP), and continuous glass fiber composite laminate inserts via a single overmolding process. The finished part is lighter by up to 30 percent compared to a similarly designed part in steel, and use of the solution allows Dongfeng to benefit from resulting production efficiencies.
With “Join our Journey” as its motto, KRAIBURG TPE is calling on interested customers and partners to form development alliances. The focus is on thermally conductive TPEs, a material of the future that is currently in high demand. The aim is to develop solutions and components for the automotive and industry markets.
Change at the top of KRAIBURG TPE: After 23 years, Franz Hinterecker, CEO of KRAIBURG TPE, is handing over his position and duties to Oliver Zintner, previously Director of EMEA, as of January 1, 2022. Dr. Monika Hofmann is taking over Mr. Oliver Zintner’s responsibilities.
