NORTHROP GRUMMAN SELECTS MOOG TO PROVIDE FULL-SCALE AIRCRAFT FATIGUE TEST SYSTEM
AMSTERDAM, July 13, 2009 – Moog’s Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A), announced that Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has placed an order for a 160-channel test controller system to perform full-scale fatigue testing on the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft. Moog is a leader in providing high-performance testing systems to the aviation, aerospace and automotive markets.

DSM DYNEEMA INTRODUCES DYNEEMA® BT10 – FIRST IN NEW RANGE OF BALLISTIC TAPE PRODUCTS FOR USE IN LIGHTWEIGHT, HIGH PROTECTION VEHICLE ARMOR
URMOND (NL), June 24, 2009 - DSM Dyneema today launched Dyneema® BT10, its first commercially available product made from a novel, proprietary ballistic tape (BT) technology. The announcement was made jointly at the DVD exhibition, (Millbrook, UK), with Ten Cate Advanced Armour, who has selected Dyneema® BT10 for armor upgrading on the Patria XA-188 APC commissioned by the Dutch DMO (Defensie Materieel Organisatie). The vehicles will be used by the Dutch military forces stationed in Afghanistan and delivery is expected to be completed by October 2009.

At a special naming ceremony today in Sittard, The Netherlands, the global leader in high temperature polyamides announced that the new polymer will be known as Stanyl® ForTii™. Key customers from various industries in the US, Europe and Asia have been involved in the naming process.
