Biobased Delta spearheading green chemicals to bring about the transition to a biobased circular economy

Perstorp, a global leader in specialty chemicals, today announced the sale of Perstorp BioProducts, a leading producer of biodiesel and glycerine in Scandinavia, to a Swedish investor together with a member of the subsidiary’s management team. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Planegg, October 1, 2015 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, officially opened its new Group Biotechnology Research Center in Planegg near Munich today. In a ceremony attended by Ilse Aigner, the Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs, Media, Energy and Technology, the key to the facility was symbolically handed over to CEO Hariolf Kottmann and the Head of Clariant’s Group Biotechnology André Koltermann.

With its first-class combustion properties, sunliquid® 20 improves engine efficiency so that its 4% lesser energy content, as compared to E10, is more than compensated. For drivers, this means: with sunliquid® 20, the sustainability of the fuel (reduced CO2 emissions) is increased significantly whilst consumption remains the same.
