3B Launches improved Continuous Filament Mat for Pultrusion
Battice, Belgium – May 18, 2010 – 3B, the fibreglass company, is launching a new pultrusion mat that will become the benchmark in combining strength, whiteness and surface appearance. This significant step forward will allow end use parts to have better defined and uniform colours, high gloss and low surface waviness while achieving high mechanical performances.

Paris – April 14, 2010 – Owens Corning (NYSE:OC), a leading global producer of glass fiber reinforcements for composite systems and residential and commercial building materials, yesterday launched a global competition to find new applications for composite materials. Announced at the JEC Composites Show in Paris, the Composite App Challenge is focused on drawing entrants in four categories to help resolve some of society’s pressing issues:
Schaffhausen, CH, April 14th, 2010 - DSM Composite Resins, through its subsidiary Euroresins Kompozit Ürünler Tic. Ltd. Sti, (a.k.a Euroresins Turkey) (ERT) has outlined its future growth plans for Turkey which include closer cooperation with Turkish company Dyo Boya Fabrikalari Sanayi ve Tic. A.S. (DYO). The arrangement, which means DSM will obtain a local source of supply of its standard resins in the rapidly growing Turkish polyester market, also involves a transfer of DYO’s existing unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) business to ERT. The entire deal, which will provide a basis for the introduction of DSM’s specialty and innovation grades to Turkey and the broader region, is intended to be completed by end of June 2010 subject to approval by the respective competition authorities.
