With well established presence in the cargo desiccant business, Clariant will introduce to the Cocoa market in Asia its leading line of Container Dri®II container dessicants,which have already enjoyed remarkable success in the seafreight transportation of coffee beans, and various other food and agricultural products.

Clariant Designer Judith van Vliet, who works at ColorWorks® Europe/IMEA in Merate, Italy, made the presentation before more than 100 interested visitors on the third day of the conference, which ran January 12 – 15 at Messe Frankfurt.
Muttenz, January 21, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, was honored for its innovative sunliquid technology for the production of cellulosic ethanol from agricultural residues as part of the 2015 German Innovation Prize for Climate and Environment (IKU). The biotechnological process was awarded first place in the Process Innovations category and thus prevailed against 14 competitors.
