PITTSBURGH, Jan. 29, 2008 – PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) and Sinoma Jinjing Fiber Glass Co. Ltd. announced their respective boards of directors have approved the addition of a third furnace at the PPG Sinoma Jinjing Fiber Glass Co. Ltd. joint-venture manufacturing site in Zibo, China. The joint venture is a 50-50 arrangement for manufacturing glass-fiber reinforcement.

ST. LOUIS – December 14, 2007 -- Solutia Inc. (OTCBB: SOLUQ) has announced a price increase of $150 per metric ton across its Ascend® and Vydyne® polyamide 66 resins in the Asia Pacific market. This increase applies to orders shipped on or after December 15, 2007, and will be applied across the Ascend and Vydyne product families. Sustained increases in both energy and raw materials costs, along with strong global demand, have made this price increase imperative.
