URMOND (NL), 1 September 2010 - Power lines connecting the large Chinese island of Zhoushan across an important shipping lane are being constructed quickly and safely thanks to the use of pulling lines made from lightweight, high-strength Dyneema® ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber. 
Belden has been granted full membership by the Association of the European Rail Industry UNIFE (Union des Industries Ferroviaires Européennes), which represents over 90 manufacturers of trains, control technology, safety equipment and infrastructure. The membership covers Belden’s complete product range and all its product brands (including Hirschmann™ and Lumberg Automation™). 
At InnoTrans 2010, to be held from 21 until 24 September 2010 in Berlin, Belden will demonstrate a range of seamless signal transmission solutions for mass transport systems.
