THE MOOG SIMULATION TABLE CONTINUES ITS WORLDWIDE SUCCESS AT THE R&D CENTER OF CAR RACK MAKER KEMFLO IN CHINA

(NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) has installed a Hydraulic Simulation Table for car rack testing at the research and development center of Kemflo International Co. Ltd, in Nanjing China. Kemflo uses the simulation table to simulate the stresses that automotive accessories, such as car racks, undergo on the road.

MOOG DRIVING SIMULATOR ENABLES DALLARA TO IMPROVE RACE CAR PERFORMANCE AND TRAIN DRIVERS
East Aurora, NY, USA, December 13, 2012 - The Industrial Group of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) delivered to race car manufacturer Dallara a high performance driving simulator for race car test and simulation. Dallara had been looking for a way to effectively shorten product development time and reduce the cost of testing and driver training compared to track testing. Dallara asked Moog, the market leader in electric 6 DOF (six degrees of freedom) motion bases, to provide the motion system and software for the driving simulator. The solution is based on high-fidelity motion simulation technology that has been successfully used in innovative systems for testing and training for the aerospace, defense and automotive industries for decades.

The Catalysis & Energy business became part of Clariant in 2011 through the acquisition of Süd-Chemie. Its extensive portfolio of oxidation catalysts, diesel particulate filters and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) blocks are manufactured in Needham, Mass., a former Süd-Chemie facility. This site, located outside Boston, is Clariant‘s North American center for all engine emission control catalysts. It comprises research and development, analytical labs and a diesel engine test lab and catalyst rejuvenation facilities.

The plant is co-located with DSM's two existing plants in Geleen, The Netherlands. The capacity increase is needed to meet the strongly growing market demand for the new polymer, used in electronics, automotive and other markets.
