Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) powers its Belgian Cushion Vinyl production plant with green energy and reduces its CO₂ emission by more than 88%
Beaulieu International Group is investing €5 million to transition the fossil based energy supply of its Cushion Vinyl production plant in Wielsbeke, Belgium, to bio mass generated steam supply. A transition to renewable energy. To this end, B.I.G. is collaborating with A&U Energie, a company that converts non-recyclable wood waste into green energy and heat. This strategic move aligns with B.I.G.'s commitment to reach ‘net zero’ for our operations by 2030.

The third edition of Flanders Flooring Days (FFD) has officially kicked off! This four-day event (May 13-16) is a collaborative initiative among Flemish flooring companies opening their doors to customers or prospects worldwide. Leading specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp has launched Pevalen™ Pro 100, marking a new era in PVC plasticizing technology. The new grade of Pevalen features 100% renewable carbon content based on mass balance, applying chemical and physical traceability. By factoring in the biogenic CO2 uptake from its renewable raw materials, Pevalen Pro 100 offers a product carbon footprint reduction of approximately 80% relative to its fossil-based equivalent from cradle to Perstorp gate.
