San Diego – Sept. 15, 2014 – DSM Dyneema, the manufacturer of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMwPE) fiber, Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber, and leading cut resistance innovation Dyneema® Diamond Technology, today unveiled a new sales training and marketing collaboration, the Diamond Coalition, here at the National Safety Council’s (NSC) Congress & Expo. Aimed at personal protective equipment distributors, the Diamond Coalition offers members access to exclusive training and communications programs that will prepare them to become the most effective distributors of cut resistant gloves made with Dyneema® Diamond Technology, and ultimately increase their sales potential. To support this initiative, the company will sponsor a register-to-win portable demonstration kiosk giveaway to distributors who attend the show. The Netherlands, 11 September 2014 - DSM Dyneema, owner of the Dyneema® brand, succeeded in its action against a third party application for a Chyneema trademark. Following two years of procedures, the official trademark authorities in South Korea, Canada, EU and the USA have all accepted DSM Dyneema's opposition and rejected the application.
