Belden is the world’s first supplier to introduce an Industrial WLAN system supporting the recently adopted IEEE 802.11n transmission standard with data transfer rates comparable to those in wired Fast Ethernet networks. The WLAN access point, which is offered in an IP40 (BAT300-Rail) and an IP65/67 (BAT300-F) version, supports the new IEEE802.11n transmission standard adopted in September 2009, providing data transfer rates of up to 300 Mbit/s.

Belden has added two new bus coupling and six new I/O modules to its range of Lumberg Automation™ LioN-Link I/O systems. These new products enable users - for the first time – to control electrical drives over Profibus, facilitate networking of intelligent sensors and actors, complete simple retrofitting or upgrading of machines, deliver safety applications and/or decentralize power supply.

The ODU MAC LC (Low Cycle) series is part of a highly economical modular system, capable of delivering up to 5,000 mating cycles. The application requires a high temperature plastic material suitable for SMT (Surface Mount Technology) soldering and with excellent electrical properties.
