Belden Sets Standards Again at SPS IPC Drives 2013
Neckartenzlingen - 9 October 2013 - Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, is presenting new products and services at SPS IPC Drives (hall 10, booth 120). As well as enhancing the productivity of systems and machines, these innovations – such as the new railway-approved Cat 7 Ethernet data cable – can also be used to implement additional applications. Innovations from the Hirschmann product range at the fair include a new version of the Industrial HiVision network management software, the OpenOCTOPUS online configurator, and HiLCOS 8.8 WLAN firmware. A further highlight is the 24x7 Technical Support Plan, a worldwide all-round service for networks. New products from the Lumberg Automation product range also being showcased at the Nuremberg event include ruggedized I/O modules from the LioN-R series for Profibus DP.

JAMES FISHER NUCLEAR SELECTS MOOG MOTION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MODUMAN 100 MANIPULATOR ARM
East Aurora, NY, USA, September 9, 2013 - Moog Industrial Group, a part of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A AND MOG.B), has supplied a motion control system and engineering services to James Fisher Nuclear Ltd (JFN) for the ModuMan 100 Manipulator Arm which will be used for nuclear decommissioning.

September 2013 - Bei der Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH – eine Geschäftseinheit des BELDEN-Konzerns haben am 02.09.2013 dreizehn junge Leute eine Berufsausbildung und damit einen Start ins Berufsleben begonnen. Dabei werden sie in den klassischen Berufen wie Fachinformatiker, Elektroniker für Geräte und Systeme, Mechatroniker und Verfahrensmechaniker sowie auch in den Studiengängen der dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg für Angewandte Informatik, Maschinenbau Fachrichtung Kunststofftechnik, Elektrotechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen und BWL Fachrichtung Industrie ausgebildet. Insgesamt bildet das Unternehmen ca. 40 junge Leute am Standort Neckartenzlingen aus. An diesem Standort werden Netzwerkgeräte und Industriesteckverbinder der Marken Hirschmann und Lumberg Automation entwickelt und hergestellt.
