Beaulieu Fibres International, Europe’s largest producer of polyolefin fibres, was nominated for the 2019 essenscia Innovation Award for its recently introduced UltraBond fibre.
Anlässlich der Hannover Messe haben die Unternehmen Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller, Reichle & De-Massari, Belden sowie Fluke Networks eine Technologiepartnerschaft für das Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) angekündigt. Die Unternehmen entwickeln und unterstützen die gemeinsam in die Normierung eingebrachten Steckgesichter der IEC 63171-2 (Büroumgebung) und IEC 63171-5 (Industrieumgebung). Die Normen definieren IP20- und IP65/67-Steckgesichter für die ein- und vierpaarige Datenübertragung in Single-Pair-Ethernet-Anwendungen. Um eine aufeinander abgestimmte Infrastruktur für Geräte, Steckverbinder, Kabel und Messtechnik zu gewährleisten, bündeln die Unternehmen ihr Technologie-Know-how. „Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) ist einer der Megatrends der industriellen Datenübertragung“, fasst Torsten Janwlecke, President Business Area Device Connectors bei Phoenix Contact zusammen.
