Solvay and Agru Sign Long-Term Supply Agreement for Use of Solef® PVDF in High-Purity Semicon Water Piping Systems
Solvay, a global market leader in high-performance polymer and composite materials, has signed a multi-million euro agreement with long-term partner Agru, a leader in engineered polymer applications, for the supply of high-purity Solef® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). With this multi-year contract, Agru secures the reliable supply of Solef® PVDF for the manufacture of ultra-pure water piping systems used in the growing semiconductor industry.

Mondi expands ISTA-approved testing services to all its eCommerce packaging solutions
Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, is pleased to announce the expansion of its International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) and Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS) certified Performance Lab services to cater to the growing demands of eCommerce customers. Mondi's Performance Lab can now also test converted solutions such as MailerBAGs and corrugated boxes. Located in České Budějovice, Czechia, the Mondi Performance Lab complements its eCommerce service offering for high-performance eCommerce packaging, from base material to converted solutions. The laboratory's state-of-the-art equipment simulates the typical impact of packed goods in each supply chain step.
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, today announced its new PCR-based NORYL™ resin technology, formulated using 25 percent or more post-consumer recycled (PCR) content and aimed at providing additional, sustainable material options for customers. The technology was validated through the commercialization of several grades, including NORYL NH5120RC3 resin containing 30 percent PCR content, which helps to lower its global warming potential (GWP) by 10 percent compared to the incumbent, fossil-based grade.
