KRAIBURG TPE welcomes new managing director for Americas: Henning Karbstein
Henning Karbstein will be taking over the management of KRAIBURG TPE for the North, Central and South America region as of October 1, 2024. He will be managing the operational business of the global TPE manufacturer from its location in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Karbstein has extensive experience from the automotive and engineering industries and is taking over from Jeff Frankish, who is retiring after 17 successful years.

Mondi will showcase sustainable packaging innovations at FACHPACK 2024
Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, will have its portfolio of innovative and flexible packaging solutions on display at this year’s FACHPACK. Mondi’s approach of designing packaging and paper solutions that are sustainable by design and fit-for-purpose allows the company to collaborate closely with customers across a variety of industries. The demand for plastics that can be integrated in existing material combinations to achieve a highly effective thermal management system has increased by leaps and bounds in recent years. The reason for this are batteries and charging systems increasingly in demand on the market, which are predominantly used for a variety of battery-controlled electrical appliances or for the total range of e-mobility. KRAIBURG TPE has launched Thermally Conductive TPEs for these applications, which meet the increasing requirements in terms of quantity and quality of batteries to a large extent.
Leading global specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), has worked closely with Intel’s Open IP Advanced Liquid Cooling team in recent years. Together they have developed a high-performance synthetic thermal management fluid specifically designed for immersion cooling in data centers. They initiated the partnership in 2022 as a part of continuing efforts to create more sustainable data center cooling solutions. More recently, the partners participated in COMPUTEX 2024 in Taipei where Intel showcased its Gaudi 3 AI accelerator solution. The accelerator uses Intel’s SuperFluid Cooling Technology, which leverages the low viscosity and high flash point balance of Perstorp’s advanced synthetic thermal management fluid.
