This collaboration marks a major advancement in the recovery of valuable materials, as very few recycling companies today can produce lithium at battery-grade, especially lithium hydroxide, the preferred form of lithium for new EV batteries.

KOMSA, a leading distributor for digital infrastructure in Germany, has been using this option to print consecutive barcodes directly onto corrugated board packaging, without additional labels or manual labelling.

Certification confirms the company’s ability to reliably calculate the product carbon footprint of products designed for the agro, home and beauty care, coatings and industrial markets, and to provide customers with the data needed to drive decarbonization and accelerate the transition to more sustainable value chains.
