熱電2006第一季度業績喜人，中國市場功不可沒
中國上海（2006年5月8日）–2006年4月27日，美林證劵（Merrill Lynch）公佈了世界領先的分析儀器研發和製造公司熱電公司2006年第一季度的收益值。報告稱熱電公司季度收入增長26%，調整後每股收益增長34%，為分析人士預計收益的翻番，實現了公司五年以來最快的增長。熱電在紐約證券交易所上市的股票價格一路上揚，近四個月上漲幅度超過20%，達到每股39美元。由於公司良好的財務狀況，美林證劵已經把對熱電公司2006年預期股票價位調高至42美元。

Borouge outlines its strategy for China – Value creation through innovation
At a press conference at the 20th Chinaplas Exhibition in Shanghai, China on 27 April 2006, Borouge outlined its strategy of using innovation to drive customer solutions in value creating application areas.
中國 上海 2006年3月23日 ― 阿科瑪（中國）投資有限公司和上海焦化有限公司宣佈：上海阿科瑪雙氧水有限公司其雙氧水年產能力將擴大一倍，從3.8萬噸/年增加到 7.7萬噸/年。新擴產專案能生產70% 以上濃度及專業等級的雙氧水(如食品或電子級的雙氧水等)，將于近期開工建設，07年投產。同時，雙方正在籌備下一輪擴產，一旦實現將達到10萬噸/年以上。 
2006年3月22日 —— 美利肯化工公司將參加今年4月26日-29日在上海舉行的亞洲最大的橡塑展 —— 中國國際橡塑展(Chinaplas’2006)，以突出展示其行業領先的應用於聚丙烯（PP）的聚合物添加劑創新產品。
