Ghent, Belgium – At this fall’s Drinktec 2017 trade fair in Germany, Milliken Chemical will demonstrate how its ClearShield® Colorless UV Absorbers bring value to PET packaging by effectively protecting UV-sensitive contents from degradation while maintaining the material’s clarity and transparency.
Brussels, June 14, 2017 - Total has just completed an industrial scale test run, following a series of pilot plant trials, demonstrating the feasibility of sustainable incorporation of about 20% of post-consumer recycled polystyrene within virgin polystyrene. The trial, which was carried out on an existing production asset, successfully led to product with properties equivalent to virgin polymer.
KRAIBURG TPE has extended its portfolio of THERMOLAST® K Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) with a range of compounds designed to deliver velvety, satin-smooth surfaces, superior adhesion in two-component applications with polar thermoplastics and outstanding mechanical performance properties. The new materials offer high scratch and abrasion resistance, good chemical compatibility and UV-stability as well as easy processing at high injection rates. Addressing the particular needs of premium lifestyle products, they made their debut at CHINAPLAS 2017.
