Clariant Launches New EQius™ Brand for Humidity-Control Packaging Solutions
Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, and its Healthcare Packaging business unit, is introducing a new brand name to encompass all of the products and technology related to equilibrium relative humidity (ERH) stabilization. The announcement is being made at Pharmapack Europe 2018 (Paris, 7 & 8 February), where the company is exhibiting on Stand E14.

Intelligent labelling solutions by Avery Dennison® open up new opportunities for converters
Simplifying the route to smart-label packaging is the focus of a new Intelligent Labelling Solutions initiative from Avery Dennison. The Intelligent Labelling portfolio supports label converters as they explore new and sometimes unfamiliar opportunities in labelling and packaging. With a very broad range of options, the portfolio helps to maximise not only well understood capabilities, for example individually serialized digital print, but also evolving state-of-the-art technologies such as RFID.
Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announces completion of testing on ingredients in its MEVOPUR and REMAFIN-EP product ranges in order to bring them into full compliance with USP <661.1>. The new standard for pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery devices doesn’t take effect until May 2020, when it will impact all current and future drugs on the U.S. market. Clariant is completing the testing process now to help customers “future-proof” packaging launched in the interim and, in addition, to offer data to support the ICH-Q3D guidelines for risk assessment of elemental impurities in drugs.
