Borouge and Borealis are introducing two high performance plastic solutions specially tailored for the automotive industry. The first is Daplen™ ED230HP, a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), that Borealis developed jointly with Plastic Omnium, while the second, Nepol™ GB215HP, is a new grade of polypropylene developed with the BMW Group.

Borouge awards approximately USD 1.3 billion Borouge 2 Cracker (EU2) Contract to Linde Engineering
Borouge, the leading provider of innovative plastic solutions, today announced that it has awarded the contract to build its new ethylene cracker to Linde Engineering; the cracker will have a capacity of approximately 1.5 million tons per annum and is considered to be the largest gas cracker in the world.

The current shareholders of Ngai Hing Hong, which is headquartered in Hong Kong, will retain a 5 percent interest in a new company that PolyOne will establish to conduct vinyl compound business in Asia.
