Mondi adapts production line in Germany to make much-needed face mask components
Mondi is committed to playing its part to produce important supplies and components during the COVID-19 outbreak. As a global leader in packaging and paper, Mondi's Personal Care Components team has found a way to convert a production line at its Gronau plant in Germany to manufacture soft, elastic straps which are now being used for face masks and used by medical professionals and consumers globally.
At Pharmapack, Airnov - the newly established identity for a global leader in healthcare packaging - highlighted its intention to build on its current leadership position. The company, previously owned by Clariant, is now an independent company with a prominent position in desiccant and oxygen scavenging products primarily serving pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and nutraceutical markets.
Airnov Healthcare Packaging (previously Clariant Healthcare Packaging) will reveal its new visual identity and branding to industry partners along with its portfolio of specialty products that prevent packaged pharmaceuticals from degradation due to moisture and oxygen at the Pharmapack tradeshow. The event takes place at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, Paris, France, Feb. 5 and 6, 2020.
Visitors to Labelexpo Europe 2019 will be the first to learn about the newest Avery Dennison breakthrough technology, to be launched at the show, which runs Sept. 24-27 at Brussels Expo in Belgium.
Today, Willem Sederel, member of the board at the Biobased Delta Foundation, opened EMG’s 6th Pre-K press event with a presentation about Biobased Circular Solutions for CO₂ reduction.
