Milliken puts lightweight and sustainability in the spotlight at VDI Plastics in Automotive Engineering 2014
Ghent, Belgium - Milliken will present its innovative high performance reinforcing agent, Hyperform® HPR-803i and its Hyperform® HPN nucleating additives for polyolefins at the VDI's Plastics in automotive engineering conference 2014 in Mannheim, Germany. New application examples will highlight the weight-reduction benefits at Booth #19.
As a result of increasing raw material prices DSM will increase the price for its Akulon® and Novamid® polyamide 6 compounds. DSM will increase prices by € 100/t in Europe, and by $0.10/lb in North and South America. This increase will take effect for all orders shipped on or after March 1, 2014 where contracts allow.

The new grade is designed to support customers who appreciate the excellent thermal stability, broad processing range and very good melt strength of EcoPaXX.
