Over 100 million PET bottles are upcycled into SABIC’s LNP™ ELCRIN™ iQ products contributing to net zero carbon goals
Since the introduction of LNP™ ELCRIN™ iQ materials in late 2019, SABIC has helped divert more than 100 million single-use 16.9 oz. (50 cl) PET water bottles from landfills and incinerators. This portfolio of globally available polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) materials is produced from post-consumer polyethylene terephthalate (PET) water bottles through a unique chemical upcycling process.

Clariant and India Glycols tap into green renewables megatrend by forming joint venture
Clariant, a focused, sustainable and innovative specialty chemical company, and India Glycols Limited (IGL), a leading company in the manufacturing of green technology-based chemicals, today announced a strategic partnership to establish a 51-49% joint venture in renewable ethylene oxide (EO) derivatives.
DOMO and the Italian company, STS Tecnopolimeri, specialized in the production of thermoplastics applications, have partnered to develop a leading range of household and electronic parts. The material selected for moulding these applications is DOMO’s recently approved DOMAMID® FR 6G30V0E BK, a flame retardant halogen-free polyamide 6 product with outstanding mechanical and electrical properties.
Milliken & Company is pleased to announce Cindy Boiter has been promoted to executive vice president and president of Milliken’s Chemical Division. Effective March 15, she will step into the role currently held by David Moody as he transitions to a role outside of Milliken.
