Transport rings made of fibreglass reinforced Exxtral PP for an innovative integrated internal transport system for pot plant growers
Machine manufacturer Flier Holland BV in Barendrecht (NL) and E&O Kunststoffen in Veenendaal (NL) have jointly developed a special transport ring for the internal logistics of pot plant nurseries, made of 10% fibreglass reinforced Exxtral polypropylene (PP) supplied by polymer distributor Distrupol. Flier Holland BV is a leading manufacturer of mechanisation and automation systems for flower and plant growers. E&O Kunststoffen designs and develops customised plastic product solutions for its clients.

Victrex® PEEK™ polymer takes the pressure in HPLC quick-connect system
A state-of-the-art high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system featuring Victrex® PEEK™ polymer parts has been developed by Optimize Technologies of Oregon City, USA. The system’s patented high-pressure, low dispersion, quick-connect sealing interface relies on the polymer’s outstanding chemical resistance and mechanical performance in extreme pressure conditions.
The full range of Stamylan P polypropylene resins manufactured by SABIC is now being distributed throughout the Nordic region by Distrupol, a member company of Univar and leading polymer distributor, technical service provider and application development partner.
