AVERY DENNISON APPOINTS EUROPEAN TECHNICAL DIRECTOR FOR FASSON ROLL MATERIALS
Leiden, The Netherlands - Avery Dennison has promoted Lisa Hubbard to the post of Technical Director, Roll Materials Europe. In this new role, she leads the European product technology and innovation team, which develops adhesives, release systems, face materials, and top coatings to provide high-performance Fasson-brand product solutions for customers.

UL-APPROVED FASSON OVERLAMINATING FILM FOR DURABLE LABELS

Avery Dennison have developed an innovative alternative to expensive polycarbonate labelstocks: an ultra-thin Fasson polycarbonate overlaminating film that protects the integrity of the nameplate and, it is claimed, can also save costs for durable goods labelling.

Leiden, The Netherlands - Avery Dennison has developed a new hotmelt adhesive for its self-adhesive labelstocks specifically formulated for cool-temperature air-blown label dispensing, particularly in the food packaging industry. Fasson S2065 combines high tack with strong ultimate adhesion characteristics on a variety of substrates -- including apolar films, sausage casings, stretch PVC and PE and modified atmosphere films -- at temperatures as low as 1-10 deg C.
