Mondi and Proquimia launch paper-based stand-up pouches for dishwashing tabs
Mondi, a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, has collaborated with Proquimia to launch paper-based stand-up pouches for dishwashing tabs in Spain and Portugal. Mondi’s internal product impact assessment indicates that the new solution has significantly lower CO2 emissions from cradle to gate compared with the previous plastic solution.

Archroma Packaging Technologies Joins NC State's SAFI Consortium
Archroma Packaging Technologies is proud to announce that they have joined North Carolina State's College of Natural resources research consortium, the Sustainable and Alternative Fibers Initiative (SAFI) which aims to study, develop and promote the utilization of alternative fibers for packaging, hygiene, textiles and other products. Archroma Packaging Technologies is the latest to join the more than 20 global entities who have partnered with SAFI across the fiber, packaging, tissue, and textile markets.
Following the fire at Mondi’s Stambolijski mill (Bulgaria) on Tuesday 24 September 2024, the Group has announced that it will permanently close the mill.
