Zweibrücken, Germany (16 October 2013) - A new grinding system from Pallmann enables energy-efficient recycling of vulcanized rubber waste back into fine powder for direct reuse in rubber processing. Pallmann, one of the world's largest developers, producers and providers of innovative size reduction technology, is unveiling the new machine, called Karakal, on its stand at K 2013.

Label converters using film materials with ClearCut™ adhesives can now simultaneously improve sustainability and productivity while retaining all-important shelf appeal.

With more than two billion PET containers a year failing to enter the recycling stream, finding a way to recycle them without contamination is an extremely important industry goal.

LEIDEN, the Netherlands - September 19, 2013 - Avery Dennison has expanded its PET recycling program with the addition of two new collection facilities in Europe. Waste PET liners can now be sold directly to Avery Dennison's recycling partner Morssinkhof Rymoplast, either at its main plant in Zeewolde (the Netherlands) or at collection facilities in Lichtenvoorde (the Netherlands) and Przeczno (Poland).

Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, has announced that it has expanded its partnership with the Ravago Group, a leader in distribution, resale, compounding and recycling of plastic and elastomeric raw materials. The two companies have combined DSM’s expertise in polyamide 6 with Ravago’s recycling know-how to develop a portfolio of glass reinforced recycled PA6 compounds. The materials will be offered by DSM directly and distributed by Ravago Group member Resinex, which has a leading position in the plastics and rubbers distribution market across Europe and Turkey, and which is already a well-established distributor of DSM engineering plastics.
