Solvay and Carbios Demonstrate Enzymatic Depolymerization in PET/PVDC Barrier Film
Solvay and Carbios successfully demonstrated that multi-layer PET films coated with Diofan® PVDC high-barrier polymer are fully compatible for enzymatic depolymerization - Carbios’ innovative recycling process. Results show that the PET is fully depolymerized, whereas the PVDC remains intact.

Mondi and Thimonnier team up to make recyclable packaging for liquid soap refills
Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, has joined forces with French machine supplier Thimonnier to develop a recyclable packaging that reduces plastic waste.

Perstorp Group greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative, meaning they are consistent with levels required to meet the goals of the 2015 Paris Agreement. The targets covering greenhouse gas emissions from Perstorp’s operations (Scopes 1 and 2*) are consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C, the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement.

The two companies worked together on a packaging solution for Henkel’s hand dishwashing products that allows refilling plastic bottles from flexible pouches.
