Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, has announced that it has expanded its partnership with the Ravago Group, a leader in distribution, resale, compounding and recycling of plastic and elastomeric raw materials. The two companies have combined DSM’s expertise in polyamide 6 with Ravago’s recycling know-how to develop a portfolio of glass reinforced recycled PA6 compounds. The materials will be offered by DSM directly and distributed by Ravago Group member Resinex, which has a leading position in the plastics and rubbers distribution market across Europe and Turkey, and which is already a well-established distributor of DSM engineering plastics.

On October 1st, Azelis announced the sale of its international Composites business to VELOX GmbH who has acquired this business in its entirety. As a result, VELOX will take over and manage the Composites business and its employees, effective October 1st, 2012.

Azelis announces that they have been appointed distributor to service the Benelux region by Robinson Brothers, the leading UK based fine speciality chemical manufacturer. Azelis will now be able to offer customers the ROBAC range of rubber accelerators and aims to work closely with Robinson Brothers to grow the market in Benelux with these products.

Zweibrücken, Germany (November 21, 2011) – Two market leaders have come together to provide a new concept for tyre recycling. The German Pallmann Group, one of the world's largest developers and producers of innovative size reduction technologies, has formed a partnership with Spanish company GMN, a well-established and successful tyre recycler. Together, the two companies intend to develop, construct and sell complete plants for shredding and reprocessing vehicle tyres.
