LOCKHEED MARTIN COLLAUDA LE TORRETTE AFFIDANDOSI AL SISTEMA DI PROVA MOOG
East Aurora, NY, Stati Uniti d'America, 10 luglio 2013 – Moog Industrial Group, una divisione di Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A e MOG.B) e leader nella fornitura di simulatori, ad alte prestazioni ha fornito un sistema di test per torrette all’impianto di Ampthill (UK) della Lockheed Martin. L’Azienda effettuerà prove in merito alla stabilizzazione e alla performance delle torrette, installate sul carro armato Warrior, come previsto dai programmi di miglioramento delle prestazioni del carro (WCSP) e dei veicoli da ricognizione e combattimento leggeri, di cui General Dynamics UK è il capo commessa. Lo sviluppo del Warrior comprende l’adattamento e l'integrazione del Cased Telescopic Gun da 40 millimetri in una nuova torretta più moderna. Questo ha richiesto lo sviluppo di un nuovo test di stabilità e ottimizzazione del puntamento dell’arma, per simulare le manovre tipiche del campo di battaglia.

The Netherlands, 9 July 2013 - Air France-KLM will further cut tonnes from its annual aircraft carbon dioxide emissions, simply by using revolutionary new lightweight cargo nets that it is now introducing. Just one new lightweight net with Dyneema® will save Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo over 210 gallons of kerosene fuel per year. That means CO2 emissions will be over 2.5 tonnes less per net per year.

Total and Wavin contribute to a reliable water supply in South Africa
In Pietermaritzburg, the capital of KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa, city officials were faced with replacing 2,200 meters of ageing metal water pipes as part of their 10 year plan to fight leakages. To minimize the inconvenience to its inhabitants, the Msunduzi Municipality chose to upgrade the existing inner city water mains without excavation, by bursting1 the old metal pipes and replacing them with Wavin TSDOQ pipes, made from Total XSene XSC50 material.
