Ghelani assumes the position on June 1, 2016, and will be based in Swindon, U.K. He will report to Thomas Schmidt, president of TE Industrial. Peter van Loo, former general manager of TE’s Rail unit will move to TE Industrial Strategic Growth.

The total cash consideration amounted to approximately SEK* 10.9 billion on a cash and debt-free basis. CGS is headquartered in the Czech Republic and generated sales of approximately SEK 5.6 billion in 2015 with an operating margin of 16.5 percent.

Yoshiharu Inaba, president and CEO of FANUC Corporation (L) formally handed over the 50,000th Roboshot to Minoru Okamoto, TE senior advisor to the CEO, in recognition of TE’s role as a key supplier. TE components make up almost 100 percent of the connector content in these molding presses. The 50,000th Roboshot is to go to TE’s Gateway Plant in Thailand.
