Omron lancia sul mercato machine controller dotati di intelligenza artificiale (IA)
Omron Corporation (sede centrale: Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. CEO: Yoshihito Yamada) ha annunciato oggi lo sviluppo di un machine controller equipaggiato con un algoritmo di intelligenza artificiale (IA) ad apprendimento automatico. Primo del suo genere nel settore, questo controller dotato di IA è in grado di integrare in tempo reale le funzioni logiche del controller che comanda in pochi microsecondi le linee di produzione e le modifiche ai dispositivi posti sugli impianti, e la funzione di elaborazione dell'IA. Grazie all'ampia gamma di sensori di Omron il controller è in grado di monitorare lo stato dei dispositivi e dei processi; effettua le regolazioni necessarie in maniera sicura, prima che si verifichi un'anomalia, e prevede, inoltre, i movimenti insoliti delle macchine in base al modello causale che orienta l'apprendimento dell'IA.

TE Connectivity werkt samen met o.a. Shapeways en Fontys aan de toekomst
’S-HERTOGENBOSCH – 24 april 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), een wereldleider in connectiviteit en sensoren werkt vanaf nu officieel samen met Shapeways, Fontys en twaalf andere bedrijven. Deze samenwerking ligt op het gebied van praktijkgericht onderzoek naar additive manufacturing/3D printing en adaptive robots. Om deze samenwerking te bekrachtigen, hebben Mark Maas van TE Connectivity, Maarten van Dijk van Shapeways en Hans Nederlof van het College van Bestuur van Fontys ook het convenant ondertekend.
