Una ricerca mostra che gli acidi organici sono un’alternativa fattibile alla formaldeide nell’igiene dei mangimi
Perstorp - 20 febbraio 2018 - Verso la fine del 2017 l’UE ha negato l’autorizzazione all’uso della formaldeide come conservante ed intensificatore delle condizioni igieniche. Prevedendo quella decisione, l’azienda svedese Perstorp, produttrice di acidi organici e fabbricante di additivi per mangimi, ha condotto per diversi anni ricerche sul meccanismo d’azione e l’efficacia degli acidi organici contro la salmonella. I nuovi dati rivelano che l’acido propionico riduce la mobilità della salmonella, e che oli essenziali specificamente selezionati hanno un effetto sinergico, in combinazione con gli acidi organici.
