Clariant introduces new range of low foaming label-free emulsifiers for metal working fluids
Clariant, a world-leader in specialty chemicals industry, is launching two new emulsifiers suitable for replacing traditional alcohol ethoxylate emulsifiers in metal working fluid formulations. The new products Emulsogen® MTP 020 and Emulsogen MTP 030 join Clariant’s well-known Emulsogen MTP 070 to create an innovative new range of hazard label-free low foaming emulsifiers for the industry.

SONGWON begins large scale manufacture of functional monomers in Ulsan, South Korea
Having started to develop functional monomers about two years ago, SONGWON has now begun bulk manufacture at its production site in Ulsan, South Korea. These monomers provide resins and polymers with special functions, one of the most important being improvement of the physical and chemical properties of the final product. Clariant’s shareholders approve all agenda items
At today’s Annual General Meeting in Basel, the shareholders of Clariant AG, a world leader in specialty chemicals, approved all agenda items and resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors. The meeting was attended by 494 shareholders and shareholder representatives accounting for 150 829 734 shares or around 45.44 % of the share capital of Clariant.
