SABIC, un leader mondiale dell'industria chimica, presenterà a InnoTrans 2022 a Berlino, in Germania, il compound LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ AM DC0041XA51, un nuovo compound rinforzato con fibra di carbonio e ritardante di fiamma (FR), adatto per additive manufacturing con alimentazione a pellet (PFAM), conforme agli standard di sicurezza antincendio ferroviari dell'Unione Europea e degli Stati Uniti. Il nuovo compound avanzato può aiutare l'industria ferroviaria a passare dalla costruzione di stampi tradizionali per la produzione di pezzi a base di termoindurenti all'utilizzo della stampa 3D on demand, che può potenzialmente abbassare i costi del sistema riducendo i livelli di inventario degli stampi di grandi dimensioni e dei pezzi di ricambio.
